Almost two months have passed after Macao was hit by the strongest typhoon in more than half a century. Thanks to the support of the central government and the unity of Macao people, the city has been gradually recovering from the deluge. Macao legislators said Macao had learnt its lesson from the natural disaster and will develop a long-term flood prevention plan in coordination with the neighboring cities.
