In recent years, Jinggangshan has made great strides in the battle against poverty, becoming the first poverty-stricken county in China to have that status removed since the campaign of poverty alleviation began. Enormous changes have taken place in Jinggangshan in both the rural and urban arenas. But this is only the beginning. After a successful battle against poverty, Jinggangshan will continue to promote sustainable development, providing higher quality of life for its people.
