The much anticipated Belt and Road Forum of International Cooperation is set to take place in Beijing on May 14 and May 15. 

Questions some may ask could include why such a theme is related to global governance? What will the initiative contribute to the global governance?

He Yafei, the former Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will answer these types of questions in the second episode of this series - an exclusive interview with China Daily.

"We have seen the globalization is moving in a bifurcated fashion. On one hand, globalization is moving forward with free trade and investment. On the other hand, we have seen deglobalization. People are puzzled by this trend, and Belt and Road Initiative was brought to the world stage in this particular period of time." He said.
